The Mission

The company's mission is to improve the health of as many people as possible by providing information and tools to live longer and disease-free. FemiSpace creates plans and tools which help preserve health, increase health-span and promote happiness.

What's The Problem of Original Design?

There is no easy and affordable way to acquire accurate and credible knowledge and guidelines to help users improve their health through holistic means.

The original FemiSpace app mockup was not easy to navigate , confusing and had an overwhelming amount of features that users did not use. Overall this created a poor user experience.

Research before start

We dove into research to understand what products were already on the market trying to solve these same health issues. From this research we found opportunities to improve on what the industry lacks. We used user reviews as a metric for areas of improvement.

Calming Professional

Like the slow and steady rate (small habit at a time), beautiful sounds and imagery after completing a task gives a sense of completion, no "punishment" for falling off track, not overwhelming

Not customizable enough,  too many notifications, no integration to other devices, can't easily cancel subscription,

understanding Users

In order to understand the potential users of our product we scheduled interviews with app users that were interested in leading healthier lifestyles. These interviews were both online and in person to accommodate for different needs. Based on our findings we created personas that reflect real user needs, goals and frustrations.

Things have been improved

1

Improved navigation by including nested arrows on screen for those that may not have the back capability on their phone.

2

Increased accessibility by improving color contrast and font size.

3

Ensured that all actions have some sort of validation, which included more research into motion design.
