Problem statement

Isolation, caused by divorce, studying abroad, or other factors, is common. Those who eat alone due to this often face mental health risks. An Oxford Economics survey found eating alone closely linked to unhappiness, second only to mental illness in impact. Recognizing this is vital for well-being.

Secondary reasearch

This chart demonstrates a clear connection: those who eat alone tend to be less happy than those who don't. According to the article "Eating meals alone is biggest lifestyle cause of unhappiness," this trend is significant. Individuals who always eat by themselves scored on average 7.9 points lower on a happiness index compared to those who dine with others. This underscores the substantial influence of solitary dining on overall well-being.

Brain Storming

This phase centers on understanding user needs and app ideation. Through collaborative discussions, we unearth user requirements. Visualizing the user journey, we translate ideas into sketches, shaping the user experience.
